New SE Lab Tool Vendor: Sensmetry

Mar 31, 2025, 10:14 AM by Janeen Schuh

We are excited to announce that Sensmetry has joined the INCOSE SE Lab, bringing their innovative SysML v2 solutions to our community. This partnership reinforces INCOSE's commitment to providing our members with access to cutting-edge tools and resources that enhance their systems engineering practices.

Sensmetry offers two powerful tools designed to streamline and improve your SysML v2 workflows:

SysIDE Pro: Comprehensive SysML v2 Tool Suite

SysIDE Pro is a robust tool suite tailored for enterprises and power users seeking advanced modeling capabilities. It enables:

  • Visualisation of SysML v2 models

  • Programmatic model manipulation

  • Embedding domain-specific languages

  • Model analysis, simulation, and validation

  • Automatic asset generation

  • Seamless integration with other engineering tools and workflows

This comprehensive suite empowers engineers to tackle complex projects with increased efficiency and accuracy.

SysIDE Editor: Open-Source Textual Editing and Analysis

SysIDE Editor provides a convenient and effective textual editing experience for SysML v2. Developed to extend SysML v2 language support to VS Code, it can also be used as a standalone tool, offering:

  • SysML v2 textual syntax analysis capabilities

  • Integration into larger software projects

  • Integrated Development Environment (IDE) functionality when used with VS Code

This open-source solution makes SysML v2 more accessible and user-friendly for a wider range of users.

We look forward to the contributions Sensmetry will bring to our community and the advancements their tools will enable in systems engineering.
