The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) is a not-for-profit membership organization founded to develop and disseminate the transdisciplinary principles and practices that enable the realization of successful systems. INCOSE is designed to connect systems engineering professionals with educational, networking, and career-advancement opportunities in the interest of developing the global community of systems engineers and systems approaches to problems. We are also focused on producing state-of-the-art work products that support and enhance this discipline’s visibility in the world.

Awards Nominations Due Feb 28

We are excited to announce that nominations are now open for four prestigious INCOSE awards: the Pioneer Award, Founders Award, Systems Engineering Influencer Award, and Presidential Benefactor Award. Nominations are open until 28 February. 

Pioneer Award 

The Pioneer Award is presented to one distinguished individual or team, who, by their achievements in the engineering of systems, has contributed uniquely to major products or outcomes that enhance society or meet its needs. The criteria may apply to a single outstanding outcome or a lifetime of significant achievements in effecting successful systems. Read more about this award's requirements. 

Founder’s Award 

The Founder's Award recognizes outstanding individual contributions to INCOSE, be they a single event or significant events over a sustained service period. Contributions should be of a highly significant nature and contribute positively to the advancement of INCOSE or an INCOSE Chapter. Read more about this award’s requirements. 

Systems Engineering Influencer Award 

The Systems Engineering Influencer Award recognizes the efforts and achievements of a person(s) who has been instrumental in influencing the acceptance, adoption, and implementation of systems engineering. The candidate does not need to be a systems engineer themselves but must clearly see and communicate the value of systems engineering. Read more about this award’s requirements

Presidential Benefactor Award 

The Presidential Benefactor Award recognizes an individual member or group who, by their actions and personal generosity, has contributed uniquely to the enhanced reputation and recognition of systems engineering in society at large and directly to the advancement and betterment of INCOSE.
