The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) is a not-for-profit membership organization founded to develop and disseminate the transdisciplinary principles and practices that enable the realization of successful systems. INCOSE is designed to connect systems engineering professionals with educational, networking, and career-advancement opportunities in the interest of developing the global community of systems engineers and systems approaches to problems. We are also focused on producing state-of-the-art work products that support and enhance this discipline’s visibility in the world.

INCOSE India - Bangalore Circle

INCOSE India chapter - Bengaluru circle with the new circle members was held on 25th Nov 2018. Six members from diverse industries viz. Airbus, Alstom, Collins Aerospace, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services and LDRA participated in the meeting.
Bangalore Circle - 2018The first meeting of INCOSE India chapter - Bengaluru circle with the new circle members was held on 25th Nov 2018. Six members from diverse industries viz. Airbus, Alstom, Collins Aerospace, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services and LDRA participated in the meeting. The primary agenda of the meeting was mutual introduction of the members and to introduce INCOSE India chapter – organization, activities and charter to the new members. The team discussed on the circle charter for 2019 and shared their ideas. The plan for regular circle meetings and the communication modalities were decided. Participants shared their ideas on participating in some of the INCOSE workgroups, themes for local events, creating awareness on SE practice especially on SE management in the industry and so on. Some of the key ideas were i. Conducting Hackathons for students,  ii. Initiating and mentoring on student projects that demonstrate the importance of SE, iii. Regular SE tech talks by local industry experts, Seminars and Workshop in collaboration with companies and other professional bodies (ISSE, SAE, AeSI, IEEE, etc), iv. Creation of new local workgroups on Prognostics Health Monitoring and IVHM, Value Engineering, Military  &  Aerospace systems. The members were given a brief on AOSEC 2019 and were requested to volunteer for the event and promote participation from their respective communities.
