Singapore Chapter promotional event well received

Dec 31, 2015, 01:46 AM by Admin30 Chapter
Thanks to a 'promotional event' grant from INCOSE in 2015, the Singapore Chapter organized a Tutorial on 26-Nov-2015 which turned out to be very successful.

The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) jointly advertised the seminar to its members who were reserved half of the seats.
The tutorial drew and overwhelming response: more than 3 times the number of seats with attendees coming from as far as the neighboring countries of Malaysia and Indonesia thanks in part to our previous attempts to advertise System Engineering in those countries.
In view of the tutorial success, IET will organize and sponsor a repeat of the tutorial in January 2016 which will be opened to INCOSE members.

The tutorial entitled 'System Engineering: a systemic and systematic method for solving complex problems', was conducted by Professor Joseph Kasser.
As usual, Professor Kasser did a very good job to immerse the attendees into what System Engineering 'feels like in the real world', combining short presentations and group exercises.
The feedbacks from the participants has been very good.
