The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) is a not-for-profit membership organization founded to develop and disseminate the transdisciplinary principles and practices that enable the realization of successful systems. INCOSE is designed to connect systems engineering professionals with educational, networking, and career-advancement opportunities in the interest of developing the global community of systems engineers and systems approaches to problems. We are also focused on producing state-of-the-art work products that support and enhance this discipline’s visibility in the world.

Registration Open for 2006 International Workshop

Nov 2, 2005, 23:00 PM by INCOSE UMS
Join us in Scottsdale, Arizona for the INCOSE International Workshop 2006, to be held Sunday, 29 January – Wednesday, 1 February at the Radisson Ft McDowell Resort. INCOSE's International Workshop is the event of the year for systems engineers to contribute to the state of the art.  Unlike INCOSE's annual International Symposium and other conferences, there are no paper or panel presentations.  Instead, attendees spend four days immersed in a vibrant community of fellow systems engineers who are there to make a difference. Systems engineers at all levels and from all backgrounds are encouraged to engage in working sessions, and contribute their knowledge and experience to take the discipline forward.

IW2006 will incorporate working meetings for groups engaged in INCOSE's major projects and in international standards development, workshops to explore the systems engineering challenges in new sectors, opportunities for chapter leaders to meet and share best practice, support sessions to help you get the most out of INCOSE's shared working environment and a broad range of other technical meetings. Planned sessions and points of contact will be published on the website as these become available, and attendees are encouraged to contact the relevant session leaders before the event for further information. For those members already active in working groups, the change to INCOSE's financial year in 2005 has given us a flying start to the IW, with budgets and plans for 2006 already fully approved.

IW2006 is only open to INCOSE members. However, non-members can join prior to the IW for $55, giving 6 months membership up to the annual renewal date of June 1, 2006. For more information on membership, please visit http://www.incose.org/membership/membershiptypes.aspx or email [email protected].
