At the 2006 International Symposium, INCOSE will recognize 24 chapters for meeting and exceeding INCOSE’s standards for local service and contributions. The chapter awards recognizes excellence in seven areas of chapter operation: activities, communications, membership, technical, outreach, INCOSE support, and operations. An eighth area, subjective, provides an opportunity to recognize additional chapter contributions.
The Southern Maryland Chapter will receive the President’s Award for Outstanding Chapter. The Central Savannah River Area (South Carolina) will receive the Director's Award for Most Improved Chapter.
