Speaker: Abigail Ganopol holds a PhD in Physical Sciences from the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires. She has been working in the aerospace industry since 2009. Her area of specialization is mission operations management for low Earth orbit satellites. She has been a team leader on long-term projects and was recognized by NASA for her work on one of these missions. As a manager, one of her main interests was improving her team's performance, which led her to spend several years developing and implementing a knowledge management method with a lessons-learned process at its core. In 2023, she was appointed as a mentor for the Space4Women program by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) and represented Argentina at the Space4Women Expert Meeting 2023 in Montreal, Canada: "Building Capacity to Promote and Advance Gender Equality in the Space Sector," organized jointly by UNOOSA and the Canadian Space Agency. She has over 15 years of experience in university teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has supervised and served on thesis review committees for master's theses in the aerospace field. Her curious and restless nature has also led her to pursue personal development topics. In 2018, she founded "NUT Time Management" with the goal of improving people's quality of life by teaching time management through a holistic approach. She is the author of the book “Es Tiempo del Tiempo” (2019) and several online articles.
