Abstract:
This talk will focus on different measurement techniques to ensure appropriate process maturity, while minimizing wasted efforts related to attempting to mature a process to quickly.
Professional Biography:
Louise Mudd, PE, is retired from Northrop Grumman after over 29 years of service. Prior to retirement, Louise was the Director of Engineering Operations for the ICBM Prime Integration Program and other ICBM sustainment programs. She lead the organization in the achievement of CMMI Level 5 for Acquisition and participated in Division organizational achievement of CMMI Level 5 for Development. Louise was responsible for the Quality Management System and certifications for AS9100/ISO and process improvement efforts for approximately 10 years. During this time, she and her team used techniques from Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints to successfully implement the objectives for business, and registration efforts. Prior to these efforts, she was involved with ICBM strategic evolution planning; supported the FAA in development of a strategic architecture, supported the Navy/Marine Corp in the development of Amphibious ships and support systems, and worked in the test program for Peacekeeper Rail Garrison.
