ABSTRACT:
The January ‘speaker’ meeting will be held at The Daily Grill at the Westin LAX and will be in a “Town Hall” format. Being as this is the first scheduled meeting for 2017, we will also take a short amount of time to present chapter awards, and Dr. Azad Madni (USC) will do the honors of inducting the newly elected officers to the INCOSE-LA Board of Directors.
It is anticipated that this meeting will be unique and of special interest to anyone who would like to know how the chapter operates and who would like to have a say in the programs, events, and activities of the chapter. We hope that is you.
The format will be a “town hall” discussion in which members are invited to “do the talking” - to discuss how the chapter can improve to better meet the needs of the membership. Participation by non-members is also encouraged – we’d like to know why you’re not a member of INCOSE and INCOSE-LA. Information will be presented on key focus areas, and questions will be presented to the audience, for the purpose of soliciting feedback and suggestions. The discussion is intended to support planning for the upcoming year and strategic planning for the future. This will provide chapter leaders insight for representing chapter interests in local activities and at upcoming international level events.
