Dear Members, Friends, & Colleagues: The April INCOSE Seattle Metro Chapter (SMC) General Membership meeting will be held in-person and virtually at the University of Washington (Seattle) in Sieg Hall Room 324 on 04/16/25 at 6:00PM. Please see below for parking details and campus map.

Our featured speaker is Yuliya Shirokova, Graduate Advisor for Master's/Graduate Certificates/Ph.D students and Program Manager for Professional Programs for UW's Industrial and Systems Engineering Department. She will be discussing both the Industrial and Systems Engineering track at UW as well as the professional opportunities for continuing education this department offers.

Parking Parking will cost $6.75 for visitors to the campus. There are two categories of parking options for the campus: Self-serve lots (pay by phone) Closest to Sieg Hall: N22, N16, N18 Lots with gatehouses (stop and pay at the gatehouse) Closest to Sieg Hall: Central Gatehouse and West Gatehouse I have included both a map of the gatehouse lots and the self-service lots An additional transportation option is the Light Rail. There are two stations that service the UW campus: University of Washington Station and U District Station. Bio summary: Yuliya Shirokova is the UW ISE Graduate Advisor and Professional Programs Manager of the master's degrees, graduate certificates, and the Ph.D. She is a double Husky with her Bachelor's and Master's obtained at the University of Washington. The first half of her career was spent in leadership roles in healthcare. As of a year ago she has joined the ISE team with the goal of nurturing and growing the Professional Programs of the ISE. She and her family love the outdoors and spend as much time there as possible.

Summary of Information: Introduction of the Professional Programs that the ISE has available to the working professionals or just those who would like to deepen their knowledge in a particular area.
