Abstract:
The INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) Program offers an independent assessment of system engineering professionals benefiting the systems engineering community, systems engineering professionals and organizations/institutions. There are three levels of certification; Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP), Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) and Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP). This presentation will highlight the benefits of achieving INCOSE SEP certification and provide you with valuable information on how to apply for the various certification levels
Biography:
David Butler; CSEP, OCSMP Mr. Butler is a systems engineer with over 30 years of experience spanning Test and Evaluation, modeling and simulation, requirements development, system architecture development, system design and system analysis. Mr. Butler has over 12 years of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience and currently serves as a Senior Systems Engineer and Digital Engineering (DE) subject matter expert with Victory Solutions, Inc. His current duties involve the creation of a full digital ecosystem for Missile Defense Agency (MDA) where he is the architecture lead for a new development program. Mr. Butler has a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Alabama, and a master’s degree in Systems Engineering from George Mason University. He is an INCOSE CSEP, is OMG Certified System Modeling Professional (OCSMP) Level 2 certified, holds a certificate in Architecture and Systems Engineering-Models & Methods to Manage Complex Systems from MIT and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
