Meeting Description
Customers are increasingly incorporating modeling in acquisition to improve evaluation, engineering, and governance. The challenge is the lack of standardization, which raises proposal learning curves and compliance risk. Laura Hart, Lockheed Martin Fellow and co-chair of the OMG Model Based Acquisition (MBAcq) User Community will present an overview of the MBAcq community activities and how this cross industry and government community is addressing these challenging issue though the use Reference Architectures and analysis patterns. Laura is also co-chair of OMG Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) specification team, Adjunct professor Drexel University, and NDIA System Engineering Division Vice-Chair.
