Abstract:
Corporations are asking universities to participate in INCOSE’s Academic Equivalency Program. The application process can be intimidating. This presentation will discuss the work to be done within a university program to prepare for academic equivalency. We’ll also talk about the application process and the minimal documentation required.
Biographies:
Courtney Wright is a Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) and the Program Manager for INCOSE’s Certification Program. She has over twenty years of experience working as an SE, including at NASA, the US Department of Defense, and the Federal Aviation Administration. She has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s in Operations Research. She lives on the East Coast of the United States.
Beth Wilson earned her PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Wilson retired from Raytheon after 33 years and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in their Master of Science in Systems Engineering program. She is an INCOSE Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP), INCOSE Certification Advisory Group (CAG) chair, and co-chair for the INCOSE Systems Security Engineering working group.
