Abstract:
INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook is an important product of INCOSE, especially for INCOSE certification aspirants and other INCOSE certification stakeholders. The handbook is being updated and the Fifth Edition of the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook is planned to be released in July 2023. This presentation will provide an overview of the handbook changes and discuss the impact of the handbook update on certification aspirants, Academic Equivalency Programs, training providers and other INCOSE Certification stakeholders. 

Biographies:

Courtney Wright is a Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) and the Program Manager for INCOSE’s Certification Program. She has over twenty years of experience working as an SE, including at NASA, the US Department of Defense, and the Federal Aviation Administration. She has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s in Operations Research. She lives on the East Coast of the United States.


Mrunmayi Joshi earned her PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.  Dr. Wilson retired from Raytheon after 33 years and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in their Master of Science in Systems Engineering program.  She is an INCOSE Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP), INCOSE Certification Advisory Group (CAG) chair, and co-chair for the INCOSE Systems Security Engineering working group.
