The eleventh INCOSE-sponsored IEEE Systems of Systems Engineering conference is planned for 12-16 June 2016, in Kongsberg, Norway. This series of conferences addresses the next challenge for systems engineers of how to develop systems of systems. The 2016 conference theme is: "SoSE and Cyber Physical Systems, from academia to application and back". The plan is to have tracks and panels on public transport maintenance and safety; maritime and offshore engineering; bridging the gap between academia and industry; health; and more.
The conference is jointly organized by the Norwegian Institute of Systems Engineering at HBV, Kongsberg, Norway, and the Department of Design, Production and Management at the University of Twente, the Netherlands. The conference chairs are Prof. Gerrit Muller (HBV) and Dr. Maarten Bonnema (UT).
