Abstract: There will be two topics at this meeting. The first will be Leading Indicators for Engineering of (LIFE) Systems. Dennis Rohn will discuss why LIFE Systems are important, provide some examples, identify some reference materials, and lead a discussion regarding personal experiences.
The second topic will be an out brief of the INCOSE International Workshop (IW) 2016 by some of the Chapter members who attended it at the end of January. They will provide insights to those who have not attended one regarding what goes on at an IW and discuss some of the topics and outcomes from this year’s IW.
About the Presenter: Dennis Rohn is a systems engineering Branch Chief at the NASA Glenn Research Center and has been a member of INCOSE since 2000. He has served in multiple roles for the Cleveland-Northern Ohio Chapter and was the Chair for three years for the INCOSE Space Systems Working Group. His interest in Leading Indicators stems from his work at Glenn, trying to develop a standard set of metrics to be used and a tool to support their capture and reporting.
