The Los Angeles Chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE-LA), in partnership with University of Southern California and Stevens Institute of Technology are excited to once again welcome the 12th Annual Conference on Systems Engineering Research (CSER), March 20-22, 2014 back to the Crowne Plaza,  Redondo Beach and Marina, Redondo Beach, California.

 

The 2014 Conference theme is "Engineered Resilient Systems: Challenges and Opportunities in the 21st Century."

 

Abstracts are invited in broad areas including; Autonomous Resiliency Research and Applications; Model Based Systems Engineering; Value-based, Lean, & Agile Systems Engineering; Cybersecurity and System Security Engineering; Social Networks and Graph Theory; Early Stage Design Concepts and Economic Value of “ilities”(Specialty Engineering); Uncertainty and Complexity Management in Complex Systems; Systems Architecting and Tradespace Analysis; Cognitive Engineering and Human-Systems Integration; Big Data and Analytics; Cyber-Physical-Social Systems; and Systems/Critical Thinking.

 

Please submit abstracts by September 6, 2013.  The technical committee will publish preliminary acceptance notifications by October 4th, 2013, and draft papers are due by November 15, 2013.  Final notifications will be sent to authors by December 2013, with the expectation of receiving the final papers by January 10th, 2014.
