March Chapter Meeting at USAFA - Dr. Dick Fairley
Air Force Academy , USA
2169 Field House Dr
The INCOSE Colorado Front Range Chapter (FRC) invites you to join your fellow chapter members at our March 2014 Chapter Meeting at the United States Air Force Academy.
Our guest speaker will be Dr. Dick Fairley, Principal Associate at Software & Systems Engineering Associates, presenting on "Requirements Engineering Across the Life Cycle Continuum".
Presentation
The life cycle continuum spans from highly predictive (i.e., waterfall) to incremental to highly adaptive (i.e., agile) life cycles for system development. This presentation will briefly review predictive development life cycles and focus on adaptive life cycles for system development/delivery that range from incremental to highly agile approaches. This presentation describes how the conventional approach to requirements engineering is modified for adaptive life cycle projects: balancing requirements, schedule, and budget; managing requirements; and involving stakeholders in requirement engineering for the various approaches to adaptive system development.
