Abstract:
INCOSE Certification Program History and Plans for 2014
Are you a systems engineer? How can someone else call himself a systems engineer, yet he does completely different work than you? What part of the work you do in your
current project would transfer to another project, or even another domain? How could you convince someone else that your experience is transferrable? INCOSE’s Systems
Engineering Handbook provides a common language that helps individuals and organizations answer these questions. The Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) program encourages individuals to catalog their own knowledge and experience. This presentation will describe the past, present, and future of the SEP program, including presenting the latest statistics about organizations and chapters supporting certification.
