Renee L Steinwand is the INCOSE Americas Sector Director, having been re-elected for a three year term. Renee has over 14 years of leadership at the International, Regional, and Chapter levels. She is focused on assisting chapters to understand and utilize INCOSE resources, products, and services, while planning improvements in Chapter leader training and member support.
Renee recently retired as a Senior Systems Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton for 35 years. She worked with U.S. Space Force Spectrum Warfare Analysis Center (SWAC) to identify, analyze, and recommend technologies for development to improve supporting the warfighter of the future. Her background of 40 years in the Aerospace business includes satellite orbital analysis, space operations, ground system development, satellite communication protocols, and applying that knowledge to the development of future space system architectures. She supported Air Force Launch Vehicle systems, Military Communications, NASA satellite communications, AF Satellite Control Network, and the National Space Defense Center.
Renee has a Bachelors in Mathematics (Siena College) and a Masters of Engineering in Space Operations (University of Colorado, Boulder). Her certifications include ESEP, Global VSAT Forum Advanced Satcom Professional, CompTIA Security+, DAU Test and Evaluation, and Adjunct Instructor.
