About Adelaide

Adelaide has rolling hills to the east and beaches to the west. With a population of slightly more than one million, Adelaide is the “20 minute city”. The airport is only seven kilometers from Adelaide city. The Adelaide Hills and major beaches are less than half an hour away by car.

Adelaide is a city that offers the physical and emotional space to breathe. It is not only the gateway to some of Australia's best wine country - in fact Adelaide has been recognized as one of the Great Wine Capitals of the World. The city center is surrounded by parklands and is a blend of historic buildings, wide streets, parklands, cafes and restaurants.

Adelaide experiences mild winters and a warm, dry summer. It has an average maximum temperature of 29°C (84.2°F) in summer and 15 - 16°C (59 - 60.8°F) in winter.
