Announcing the Fourth Annual INCOSE / Stevens Doctoral Award

The INCOSE Doctoral Award for Promising Research in Systems Engineering and Integration provides a $5,000 cash grant to the candidate, a plaque, and recognition at the INCOSE Annual International Symposium scheduled for 10-15 July 2005 in Rochester, New York, USA.
 
To be eligible for this prestigious award, the applicant must have been admitted to candidacy for the Ph.D. and have a research proposal approved by his or her doctoral committee. An application shall be submitted by the candidate who shall also request statements of support from each of two faculty members. The electronic forms may be submitted by email.
 
Interested doctoral candidates must apply by April 15, 2005
 
The award in 2002 was presented to Mr. Vassilis Agouridas, a Research Fellow and Ph.D. candidate at the University of Leeds in the UK. In 2003, the award was presented to Mr. Thomas Herald, Jr., a Senior Staff Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin and Ph.D. candidate at the Stevens Institute of Technology. Mr. James Benjamin, a Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University, was the recipient in 2004.
