Abstract: Operations and Sustainment (O&S) programs face increasing pressure to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and accelerate modernization. Hybrid Digital Twins present a groundbreaking approach by combining physics-based models and data to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, and optimize asset performance. Integrating HDTs with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) unlocks new opportunities to improve virtual prototyping, validation, testing, and sensing for O&S programs.  What You Will Learn :The benefits of connecting HDTs to MBSE workflows for O&S programs. Key challenges in implementing HDTs, including scalability, interoperability, and accuracy. Techniques like reduced order modeling (ROM) and telemetry integration to achieve high-frequency, high-fidelity simulations. Practical applications of HDTs in virtual testing, validation, and sensing for legacy and modern systems.
