Frequently, system engineering implementation and/or improvement projects in an organization are not successful and become a source of suffering and frustration for their advocates and others involved. Projects are planned and executed following 'textbook' recommendations, starting with the foundations of the discipline, but end up failing either partially or entirely. Sometimes, the necessary support to even get started is not achieved. In this webinar, we will discuss some of the most essential fundamentals on which to base the development of systems engineering capabilities. These fundamentals are usually taken for granted, although they are far from being so, as they are not typically considered part of systems engineering
