Mr. Larson is Research Associate at Kansas State University, and is Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Scholar in Residence (SiR) following a long career as engineer for defense and medical device companies. Mr. Larson has served on the AADL standard committee (SAE AS-2c) since 2007. Mr. Larson created the Open PCA Pump design artifacts to be FDA's exemplar of interrelated requirements, assurance case, and model-based engineering using AADL.
