Registration fees

All IS attendees pay a registration fee to help defray the costs of the event.

The registration fee for attendance for an INCOSE member is $1,295 for in person attendance (discounted rate) and $750 for remote participation. The INCOSE International Symposium is also open to non-members for a registration fee of $1,695 for in person attendance and $995 for remote participation. Not yet a member?

Lunches and coffee breaks are provided for conference attendees but not for guests.

All checks should be made payable to INCOSE and must be received at INCOSE/IS2022 - 7670 Opportunity Rd Ste 220 - San Diego CA 92111-2222 (USA) before Friday, June 10, 2022.

1 INCOSE Member on the day of IS registration.
2 Senior status must be pre-approved by INCOSE Administrative Office. According to policy, members qualify for the senior category if they are at least 64 years of age at the time of their membership renewal and have maintained their individual membership for the five membership years prior to applying for the Senior category. 3 Student status: students qualify if they are enrolled full time in an undergraduate or graduate program.
4 Countries of residence that qualify for this discount and which have current INCOSE membership are Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Costa Rica, Greece, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Thailand, and Turkey.
5 Countries of residence that qualify for this discount and which have current INCOSE membership are China, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Ukraine, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.

7 Applies for all level of government (local, state or national) from any country. A government employee ID will be required at check in. Failure to provide a valid Government employee ID will result in a final charge equivalent to a Full Symposium Member or Non Member rate.

In person participation

Full Registration
Includes access to all technical sessions, tutorials*, admission to exhibits, eProceedings, conference bag, lunches & breaks, receptions, and recordings during the event and for four weeks after the event.

Day Registration
Includes technical sessions, tutorials*, lunches & breaks, admission to exhibits for the selected day(s), eProceedings, conference bag, and recordings for the selected day(s) during the event and for four weeks after the event.

Tickets for the receptions, which are NOT included in the day registration rate, are available for purchase.

(*) Tutorials are subject to a $50 admission fee each and must be selected individually during registration.

Guest Registration
People attending the symposium with a guest should proactively register their guest for any social event(s) in which they intend to participate. This allows us to plan the food and beverage needs ahead of time. On-site sales will be limited.

Remote participation

Full Registration
Includes live access to broadcast sessions+, virtual tutorials*, eProceedings, and recordings of the broadcast sessions during the event and for four weeks after the event.

One Day Registration
Includes live access on the selected day to the broadcast sessions (+), virtual tutorials (*), eProceedings, and recordings of the broadcast sessions for the selected day during the event and for four weeks after the event.

(+) Plenaries, President’s Invited Content, Tech Ops Invited Content, SE Fundamentals, and selected other technical sessions. See on-line program for which sessions will be broadcast.
(*) Tutorials are subject to a $30 admission fee and must be selected individually during registration.

Tutorial Pass (remote participation only)
Individuals who want to take advantage of our high-quality tutorials for training, but are unable to attend the IS technical program, may sign up for the Tutorial Pass. This gives the individual access to the virtual platform only Saturday and Sunday. Tutorial(s) selected upon registration.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation policy for in person attendance

In the event you will be unable to attend the Symposium in person after you have registered, there are two options.

Option 1: Changing from in person attendance to remote participation

If you would like to attend the conference remotely, you must provide written notice including the reason for the change to [email protected] by Monday, June 6, 2022. INCOSE will review the request for changing to remote participation. If approved, your registration for in person attendance will be substituted with a registration for remote participation under the same registration type. A credit for the difference will be issued within 90 days after the event concludes (by September 30^th).

Option 2: Cancelling attendance

If you would like to cancel your registration, you must provide written notice including the reason for the cancellation to [email protected] by Monday, June 6, 2022. INCOSE will review the request. If approved, all cancellations received and approved by Monday, June 6, 2022 will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee for INCOSE Members, $25 for Student Member or Non-Members and $195 for Non-Members.

There will be no refunds for cancellations and modifications received after Monday, June 6, 2022. However, your registration for in person attendance can be substituted by a registration for remote participation under the same registration type.

Cancellation policy for remote participation

In the event you will be unable to attend the Symposium after you have registered, you must provide written notice of cancellation to [email protected] by Monday, June 6, 2022. All cancellations received by Monday, June 6, 2022 will be subject to a $20 cancellation fee for INCOSE Members and $75 for Non-Members.
There will be no refunds for cancellations and modifications received after Monday, June 6, 2022.
