San Diego Chapter Presents Southern California Edison’s Vision for Reimagining the Grid
Please join us on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022, at 5:45pm PST for a virtual presentation by SoCal Edison on re-imagining the grid to meet future challenges of how customers use electricity.
Technology advancements in grid software/hardware and new resources like energy storage and solar, have fostered continued progress in strengthening and modernizing the electric grid. However, the underlying design and architecture have not evolved at the same pace.
Fundamental changes in how the grid is planned, designed, built, and operated are necessary to meet future challenges. This presentation will describe some of these challenges and SoCal Edison’s approach in addressing them.
